Narottam belong to an artisan family from R00pnagarSikri of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Despite graduation, he decided to enter into his traditional family business. His family was engaged in painting marble idols prepared by other artisans. Though Narottam had good skills in designing and painting marble idols, he was not able to fulfill his familial needs as returns were less.
